Learning to Swim

If you had to interview to go to a private swimming school and pay tuition to attend, would you expect to get there and be thrown in the water to figure out how to survive on your own? Afterall, you could have done that in any random body of water. We deploy ourselves and exchange labor for wages. You think you’re getting paid but the truth is you’re paying for something that you might not be getting. When you commit your time and resources to something you expect a return on your investment. In most cases, you’re only breaking even and maintaining the same lifestyle over time based on what you consider to be the value of your time. I see many people going around and around on every level, including myself. However, we are supposed to be learning to swim so that we can walk on water, not learning to swim so we can keep from drowning.
